In the kitchen, our chef, Manuel Alvarez Gimenez, add a ice cream scoop of mango in the Pyramid of foie that rests on one of the dishes. They have taken care of every detail… In one of the tables, a commensal asks his companions’ attention striking the crystal of his wine glass with a spoon. “I would like to propose a toast”. The Chef: Manuel Alvarez Gimenez was born in Elche, in 1974. After completing his studies at the School of Hospitality of Santa Pola and Superior of Alicante (CDT), performed his internship at several of the most important restaurants in the province. In 1998, Manuel became part of the kitchen of the Hotel Huerto del Cura. Four years later, in 2002, was promoted to 2nd Chef of the hotel and, thanks to his impeccable career, with repeated examinations by both clients and their superiors, in 2004 was proposed by the Directorate of Huerto del Cura Group to lead the kitchen of the Hotel Jardín Milenio. His perfectionist spirit has led him to continue their education through different courses CDT (vacuum cooking, pastry, rice, applied computing …).
